An advisor to a Senate subcommittee has called for an ethical investigation into a senator accused of molesting her after their breakup.
Complaint Filed for Ethical Probe Against Senator
On Tuesday, Natsinee Pinyopiyawit, accompanied by her lawyer Raditsathat Praphanon, held a press conference at Parliament to announce that she had submitted an ethical complaint against a senator, who she declined to name. Natsinee is seeking an investigation into the senator’s conduct, following an alleged molestation incident.
Incident Details and Request for Investigation
Natsinee explained that she filed the ethical complaint one day after reporting the senator to the Tao Poon Police Station. She stated that she was willing to publicly identify herself in her effort to defend her dignity and prevent other women from experiencing a similar ordeal.
Natsinee revealed that she and the senator had previously been in a relationship, but they broke up following a “severe incident” that led her to decide against resuming the relationship.
Alleged Molestation on May 5
The alleged molestation took place on May 5, Natsinee said, adding that she waited over a month to gather evidence before filing her police complaint and seeking the Senate’s ethical probe.
